Welcome, and thank you for choosing our cottage for your retreat! Cottage 1901 is a very special place for our entire family. We have always loved the historic city of Fort Payne, Little River Canyon National Preserve and Lookout Mountain in Alabama, so one of our great joys was to purchase this little piece of local history and begin a project of love to restore and preserve it for our family, our guests and future generations who will appreciate the preservation of local history. We are excited to open our home to retreat guests as we continue and pursue historical restoration, so that guests can relax, be refreshed and be restored in Cottage 1901 while exploring the beautiful Lookout Mountain! Enjoy your stay, and I look forward to reading about your retreat experience in our guest book :)
